A driver without a car is useless as is a car without a driver. Together they can form a greater enterprise that allows them to make a living!!

You show the characteristic blinkerd ignorance of the left wing dreamer.BillMhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16338116017515403295noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6380332481433385691.post-11191643747522852552010-06-27T18:17:14.516-04:002010-06-27T18:17:14.516-04:00The core of the left's dislike for profit is i...The core of the left's dislike for profit is its inherently exploitive nature. When someone sells their labour for income, in order for the company to make a profit they must pay the worker less than what his labour is actually worth in market value terms.

This little Marxist seed is a primary source for the left's fetish with worker co-ops, communes, ect. The argument made is an important one, but you neglect it entirely. Properly challenging leftist concepts involves more than just ranting...we need to actually discuss and tackle the actual ideas that help formulate their beliefs, and conceptualize/articulate alternatives

- "Aetius"Aetiusnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6380332481433385691.post-13143737680400120502010-06-27T16:20:31.316-04:002010-06-27T16:20:31.316-04:00the most amazing concept that is not taught to chi...the most amazing concept that is not taught to children in school is the description of what money really is. it has been taken for granted for so long i hazard to say that most people view it as the end rather than a means to that end. (ie- a person wishes to be rich but values it in terms of the accumulation of dollars rather than the increased capacity to satisfy a need or want more easily.)
when you teach a child (or an adult these days) that money is merely the representation of subjective value recognized as a common means of exchange, only then can you begin to teach true economic literacy to the masses.

bradAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
